This significantly reduces the cost of treatment to our patients. Dr. Horwitz has been recognized as the "Heel Pain Center" of St. Louis and the Midwest for more than 12 years. He is a Board Certified Surgeon by the ABPS. We accept most insurance plans and offer competitive self-pay pricing for non-insured patients.
We also utilize the Ossatron as a comparative procedure to the Downier Epos Ultra. Patient selection is largely based on insurance affiliation/coverage and ongoing study of both machines. Use of Ossatron will necessitate the use of general anesthesia or local with IV. Patient will also likely incur OR room fees.
