pf/heel painPosted by Carol Pehrson on 1/29/98 at 18:28 (000230)
I have had the best luck with my chiropractor. First he makes sure my back is in alignmant and usually the pain eases up in a day or two. When i first saw him he also used ultra sound for about3 days in a row.plus showed me how to tape my foot. My Dr. has worked
for the Olympics and has taught me that even the best shoes need to be replaced every 4-6 mo. This is esp. true of running and walking shoes. even if they sit in your closet they loose their resilience.
I also use Burkenstocks in the summer (not too great in the snow in Iowa
) And found them to he the best answer. Good luck and remember at the first sign of pain, check out your back.
