don't go barefoot. USe birkenstocks instead.
Sometiems swapping shoes helps.
Use solid hard arch supports.
DOnt' go jumping up and down
Stretch calves and feet.
Give ice rubs after a day of use.
Alter some tasks as possible: vary times of standing with sitting, etc.
