hi , when I was diagnosed with fascitis almost 3 years ago, x-rays were done on both feet and I was diagnosed with heel spurs also. I guess this is very common with fascitis since the tight fascia rubs against the heel bone and creates these heel spurs which look like little spikes of bone off the heel . I was told if I could keep the fascia loose with stretching ect the spurs would go away. they do not recommend surgically removing the spurs because it is not the cause of the pain the tight fascia is. Maybe this is what you are looking at on the x-ray. eileen
