I posted my message on Tuesday, and when I checked on Thursday to find several heartfelt messages,I cried. Honest. It is so comforting to know there are hearts that understand. My life is so different from 6 months ago, even though I look the same.I used to stride, and now I hobble and mince my steps. The weight is going up,my frame of mind is unstable,it feels like I get nothing productive done-just basics, and to find someone who actually wants to talk about the pain is a gift.Saving each other is a wonderful way to put it.

I just found this website today. I never realized there were so many people who suffer like I do. I've had two different sets of orthodics, have been splinted, had cortisone shots, was in a cast for five weeks, and finally had surgery to relieve the plantar facia and also to have the sheeth on the nerve removed. I still have pain and it's been five months. My family and co-workers are very tired of hearing that my feet hurt. They don't understand and think I should be better by now. They don't know what agony it is to just do basic household chores. All I want to do is sit because then I don't have pain. I'm gaining weight and am very depressed. I'm glad I found this site so I can talk to other people who truly understand what I'm going through.
