Has any one ever tried the stretch where you extend your leg (only a little) and trace the letters to the alphabet all of them a-z..A therapist told me that that was a good one for pf and achilles tendonitis.I've been trying it , it's not bad so far?? Anything is worth a try

I've just read that stretching may make the PF problem worse - Do you have any thoughts?

Lori--I agree, it is a good exercise for most parts of the foot. You just reminded me that it would be good for me to do these again. Also, picking up a towel with your toes. These will strengthen the muscles in the arch too. I don't think of these as stretching exercises--they are more strengthening exercises, don't you think?
