I feel for you girl, really. It is going to be awhile probably and you need to have a lot of patience. We are here for you! I had to give up teaching in China because of my foot. I can't dance, shop and now I can't do anything but sit. When I have to go somewhere I suffer later. ICe and rest are your best friends. Don't over do it because it will make your condition worse. Take good care of your feet and let others know you aren't at full capacity. I feel like an old person having everyone dropping me off at the front doors of places, I have to sit alot at malls etc. as well. People will soon start to know and realize you can't be active as you were before. Exercise is even close to impossible but a few have found a little help in recumbant bikes and swimming. A few are back to normal (so they say) doing Jazzercise, running and all sorts of things. They are the fortunate ones. Try to get to a good Orthopedist if you can and take it easy your life will be a little different from now on. Blessings and again use this board for anything, complaining, whining or frustrations.

The surgery works! I had it and I feel great...I can run, dance, jump, hike, and walk for miles...It is a 30 minute surgery....It was a breeze...I felt better the next day....

So they say? Yes I am back to normal. I know how you all feel. I also walked like an old crippled lady. I didn't realize how slow I walked until I was at the mall with my mom and was watching how slow she was walking just to stay with me. I couldn't walk more than 15 minutes to finish grocery shopping. I was very depressed and at an all time low and felt there was nothing left to do and I should accept the fact that I would be this way forever, but I persevered and wouldn't give up. the acupuncture worked for me. Everyone on this board should be looking into this. I realize it may not work for everyone but it is worth a try. And if it doesn't work, look for a different acupuncturist to see what they would do different. good luck. Debbie
