re: Haglund's Hump Bumps?

Posted by Sharon H on 1/14/99 at 00:00 (003451)

I have a lump on the back of both of my ankles. If I point my toes, you can't feel it. If I flex my foot, there is a huge bump. Someone along the line talked of Haglund's Hump Bumps. I have tried searching this on the internet but I haven't come up with anything. Any dr.'s or nurse's know what I am talking about? Is it ligaments? Muscles? Do you think this is related to the pf? My worst foot also has the biggest bump. Let me know if you have this as well.

Sharon, I found this link that talks about Haglund's. I think I have it on my left ankle. Anyway, try this link. It doesn't go into great detail, but I found it doing a search for 'Haglund's Deformity'. Good luck! Here is the link: http://www.footcaredirect.com/haglund.html
