I have been running the course for two summers, and last summer (90 times to course) I noticed my hamstring and heel very painful after an afternoon of skiing. On a hard edge, the tip of the ski gets knocked back as you cross the wake, making your foot 'snap back', at least that is my theory. This developed the pain and now it won't go away. I'm running to get in shape for the next season, but my heel and plantar regior REALLY hurt (I also have really high arches). Any skiers out there with similar condition? Would going to a hard boot with plate help?
