Are you looking for Birks.. I have some info if you are interestedPosted by Melanie on 1/28/99 at 00:00 (004088)
I have had my birkenstocks for almost a year. It is the only shoe that I wear.. EVER
I roll out of bed in the morning and on they go.
I live in Connecticut and there is a Birkenstock store nearby. They do shipping. Their toll free # for a catalog is 1-800-247-5748.
They also have a web page with an on-line catalog... http://www.1800birks4u.com
For those of you in CT they are located at 3 North Second Avenue in Taftville
I would recommend, however, that if it is at all possible for you to find a local store, it is much better! Birks can be more painful if they don't fit correctly. So you may end up returning them for a different size if you do mail order. Hope this helped..

I am agonizing over which shoe is best. I see $$ when I look at some of the options. I am considering the New Balance 586 tennis shoes, Birk sandals, or clogs. I can't understand- the position of the foot is so dramatically different in each. I haven't tried Birk sandals yet but was fitted with Birk orthotics last week. Too early to tell if they will help.

I hope you end up liking the Birks and that they help you as much as
they did me. Let us know how you do. Keep us posted
