I tried Metabolife a few years ago. I stopped taking it because it was making me very 'nervous'. I got the shakes, couldn't sleep, etc. The minute I stopped taking it, I gained all the weight back (approx. 30 lbs) I decided to become a member of weight watchers about 2 weeks ago and have had wonderful success. I have lost a total of 7 lbs. since I started. I like it because it helps you learn how to eat properly. And, you don't really need to exercise to lose. However, they obviously recommend it, but for us PF sufferers, it isn't as easy as for most people. Anyway, just thought I would make the suggestion. I am glad it is working for you! hi, melanie, thanks for the encouragement, i need to go back wo ww, i always had success. i was doing step aerobics and i literaly, could not walk in the morning, or after sitting, i could not walk when i got up. i quit step class, and back comes the weight. its very frustrating. i guess i can be overweight and able to walk, or be thin and not walk. oh well. im going to give ww a try again. thanks

I have lost 20 pounds since September on Weight Watchers. I do ride a stationary recumbent bike about 4-5 days a week for 30 min. This plan is really working for me as far as weight loss is concerned. I wish I could have as much success with getting rid of the pain of pf! It seems to be getting worse for me since I started physical therapy two weeks ago. Is this normal? Thanks. Barbara
