I also have a husband working on his second haloPosted by Dayna on 2/01/99 at 00:00 (004311)
I don't know what I'd do without him, he's so good about my problem, he makes sure I don't try to macho my way through, makes me take care of myself, gives wonderful massages on-demand, etc. etc. I can't say it any better than you did, what so many people forget is that if we live long enough the odds are that everyone will develop some sort of activity-limiting ailment. With us, we just got it sooner, so the waiting is over, that's all.

I asked my husband of 28 years to go PF shoe shopping with me yesterday. He has been scanning this board as well. He was an interested party and we discussed the pros and cons of Birk Arizonas (he even tried on a pair) SAS Freetime and NB. I bought the sandals and high end Mephisto shoe which I pick up today. I don't think I have ever asked him to go shoe shopping in 28 yrs
He was very helpful.
