A new kind of surgery for PF

Posted by Linda on 3/03/99 at 00:00 (005219)

Hi,

I had surgery on my left foot last April 28th. It consisted of the Dr. (an orthopedic surgeon) splicing another tendon to my planter
tendon. He used the one that runs along the top of your foot and helps you curl your toes. He also cleaned out all the inflamation that was on my PF tendon. Since then, I have had no trouble at all except an occasional SMALL amount of burning in the tendon he spliced.
BUT, I HAVE COME UPON A NEW TREATMENT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF FOR PF. IT IS A TWICE A DAY FOR THREE MINUTE EXERCISE WHICH IS HELPING EVERYONE I KNOW WITH PF. YOU TIP YOUR TOES AS FAR UP (TOWARD YOUR
HEAD (IN A RECLINING POSITION) AS YOU CAN AND HOLD FOR THREE MINUTES,
TWICE A DAY. IT IS SUPPOSED TO HELP COMPLETELY IN THREE WEEKS. YOU
MIGHT TRY IT--IT WORKED FOR US!
