Pity party kit explained

Posted by Dayna on 3/24/99 at 00:00 (005748)

1 noisemaker

1 jar of mixed confetti

1 party hat complete with elastic for under the chin

1 large container of your favorite beverage (alcoholic or non-)

2 plastic glasses (it's awful to drink alone) and if you throw them they don't break

1 dozen unblown up balloons, blow them up and pop them, wonderful for relieving frustration

1 icepack, use it on your feet, also helps keep the drinks cold

Add some really good party music and dance, even if that means wriggling around on the sofa and whipping your arms around, guaranteed to provide you with a good giggle. If I'm getting too dark and gloomy, my beloved husband gets out the noisemakers and before you know it I'm smiling in spite of myself.

What a sweet hubbie you have-mine rubs my feet and does the dishes when I'm owie-ing. You're asbsolutely right, giggles are good medicine.
