A twist on using ice for pain relief

Posted by S. Chris Barrett on 4/05/99 at 00:00 (006018)

Fellow heel spur sufferers: I found one way of applying both ice and massage to aching feet is to get one of those 8-oz. or 10-oz. bottles of water that you can buy at any grocery or convenience store, freeze it and the water solid, then place it on its side on the floor and roll it under your foot or feet. The ice bottle both massages while providing some pain/inflammation relief. Try it! It feels great!
