Difference between PF and spurs

Posted by Alicia on 4/19/99 at 00:00 (006203)

The difference is that a heel spur is the actual calcium deposit on the heel bone which can be caused by an underlying condition called plantar fasciitis - inflammation of the plantar fascia. You can have the condition without the spur. Go back to Scott's home page to read more about all this. Good luck.
