Lisa: I don't really do anything for the burning. It seems like the least of my problems when I can barely stand up from the fascia pain. So, I ice, stretch, rest and put up with it. I don't know if you've read any of the previous posts about vitamin C, but it has helped me as much as anything. I wear custom orthotics, Reebok walking or crosstraining shoes, stretch fascia, calves and hamstrings before I get out of bed each morning, and take 3000-4000 mg of vitamin c per day. It's slightly better, but that is a relative comparison. I'm still miserable a lot of the time.
