Plantar Fasciitis

I have a question for everyone.Th e best advice seems to call for proper shoes and morning and evening stretching.About the time that the pain in my heel has subsided I start the stretching routine. Invariably I revert back to having a very sore heel and suffer a two or three week setback.If most of you have had success with stretching I must be doing something wrong.Perhaps I should start the program much more gradually.I would appreciate your thoughts.
