I have felt for a long time that cutting out all obvious sugar from my diet has been helping my foot feel better. I won't say that it is cured yet, but I am once again a functioning human being and in fact almost forget I have this PF most days, unless I've been on my feet ALL day and even then some days it hardly hurts at all.
I DO use the stevia natural sweetener that Rosalind suggested as I do not like to use very much Nutrasweet. It has a slightly herbal taste to it but I got used to it in a hurry. It really wasn't as tough to give up the sugar as I thought it would be---the first couple of days were bad but after that the cravings went away and it doesn't even bother me now.
I'm glad you feel like you have had some success with this also.
