The skin on your feet is much tougher than anywhere else

Posted by Gordon on 7/30/99 at 00:00 (009293)

I have tough skin on on my feet because of I massage them with a dull but abrasive tool. I have not had a problem with direct ice at all and have been doing it now for 2 years, but I never put pressure on my feet again until after they have been wamed up.

Thanks all fo info. My feet, Gordon, ae very rough too. I just don't think that the 10 minutes directly on the foot that the physical therapist was doing at the clinic would cause frostbite. However, I will admit that I was icing too long. I was thinking the more the better which isn't always true!
