angles of the foot

Posted by karen on 8/13/99 at 18:54 (009721)

I went to the podiatrist today after months of heel pain (tried injections and ultrasound) says my tendons are so tight I'm 8 degree angle off. Need to do even more stretching before I can even get fitted for orthoodics...put me on a new pill for inflamation. Do you think the cast would work also explain the angles a little better if possible

I had a cast, it didn't work and I think it made it worse. Don't know about the angles

various articles i have read noted that night splints should be adjusted for a 5 degree dorsiflexion (foot tilted up). not all night splints are adjustable.

What literature are you referring to...I would like to know where to find some good professional quality information about the various treatments.
