I've suffered from PF for about 2 years now. The one thing that helped me was when I was in physical therapy they would suggest using a small ball or round object to roll on the bottom of the foot to exercise it, and I don't know if anyone has tried this or not, but I started using a small plastic bottle, water or sports drink, fill it with hot water and use the bottom of my foot to roll the bottle underneath my foot for about a 1/2 hour or so while watching T.V. or something. For about a day after that, my feet felt a little more sore than usual (maybe due to the heat), but a couple of days later, the pain went away drastically, not 100%, but I felt much better.
