YES to PFPosted by Lee M. on 9/01/99 at 00:00 (010442)
For some odd reason my first 4 doc's never said plantar fac. to me.
I dont know why because I definitely have it. My newest Doc diagnosed me with it immediately. What I didn't understand at first, but found out later is that PF effects different areas of your foot. For instance, I started with Tarsal Tunnel Sydrome, then heel spur, then arch pain, now some lite pain in back of heel. PF is kind of a vague term I guess. The PF band makes other parts of your foot hurt.
Do the stretching it really helps. I do alternate hot and ice soaks.
RX orthodics, piroxicam cream, low carb diet and now I'm having Physical therapy 3 x a week. It sounds like a lot, but my foot is extremely better since I took control of my care and decided to beat this monster in my foot.
