Here is my 2 cents for what it's worthPosted by Sarah on 9/03/99 at 00:00 (010580)
My personal trainer took me off of breads and pasta and asked that I cut back on sugar. I noticed an immeadiate difference and my feet felt better. He did not take away ANY vegeatbles that are starchy and has recently added back low sugar, whole grain cereal in the morning only. My feet still feel a lot better. I think like Roberta does. Starchy vegetables are fine (don't get too carried away, eventhough I went nuts eating potatoes to substitute cravings of bread until my body adjusted) My feet feel better than they have in a LONG time. We are also working on weight training especially in the legs wher those muscles or all connected into the foot. It keeps it limber in my foot and helps with not being so sore and tight in the morning.
