Posted by Martha B. on 9/14/99 at 00:00 (010947)

Scheduled for orthotripsy by Dr. Galea in Toronto this Friday.Cant really say I am looking forward to it but anxious to get it over with.I will keep you all posted.I know all meds. are forbidden after ossatron but wanted to tell you that Vioxx has made my PF bearable these last few weeks.Celebrex, relafen and voltaren did NOTHING for my pain but vioxx sure has.Remember me in your thoughts and prayers.

I was told no anti-inflammatory medications after orthotripsy. This included the use of ice due to its ability to reduce inflammation. For
pain, acetaminophen was recommended. But please check with
the doctor.
