Golf ball for massage

Posted by Tomkat on 10/07/99 at 00:00 (011549)

To get that deep massage with out wearing out my fingers, I use a golf ball on carpet. (thick bathroom throw rugs work best) While standing, use a chair to steady yourself and work the golf ball back and forth on the area. You can control the pressure easier that way and no more sore hands.

I have at least dozen of golfball reachable around me all the time,
I kept using frozen juice can for massage until I saw your post.
STUPID!!! Since I saw your post, I do massage (rolling by the bottom of foot) constantly, and my pain become much better. Thank you for the great idea.

Just what brand of golf ball is best? Titleist? Maxfli? 90 compression better than 100? Has anyone tried a bowling ball
for masaage? How bout' a medicine ball? A beebee?
Only kidding here as I use a golf ball a good bit in my desperate
attempt to resume running again. I have one under my foot at this
very moment. A golf ball has worked better for me than a tennis ball
and I have yet to experiment with a medicine ball.
