Do those exercises! I use to have to stretch my calf muscles when I got out of bed in the morning because my feet hurt so bad (PF cause by a expensive pair of shoes that were wrong for my feet) I did the stretchs and after about 6 to 9 months I'm pretty pain free! Only on a few days where I'm on my feet alot do they hurt. I think the combination of stretching calf muscles and the right shoes (very important!!!) and orthotics (can never spell that word correctly) made all the difference in the world for me! This is the first time I've been on this board in months and that's cause my feet have hurt a little the last couple of days because I've been on my feet more than usuall the last two weeks.
And one and two and stretch those muscles...:~) good luck!
