Hand held massager/magnet/heat

Posted by Lori S on 11/12/99 at 00:00 (012555)

Hi all! After all of the discussion about the 'thumper', I was browsing the mall yesterday and found the neatest massager in GNC for $19.95. It's hand held, has a heat lamp thingee on it, several attachments, and has 'magnets' in it (whatever that means). Well, I tried it last night and it felt great! I used the heat and the massage at the same time.

What is the NAME of this product? I am looking for good Christmas ideas (and not too expensive) for my family to get me. I especially am interested in a hand-held massager as I have carpal tunnel in both wrists and tendonitis in my right hand - so any help I can find would be wonderful. Thanks!

It's called 'Homedics'. It's on sale now at $19.95, was $24.95. It's pretty neat. I used it on a sore area on my hand last night. The heat seemed to 'find' the sore area. It seemed to help a little as it doesn't hurt as bad this AM. It's a neat little gadget.

Found one just like it at Wal-mart also, same price too! This one made by Connair I believe

I've used this for 3 nights and it feels great! I ice afterwards and rub my feet with lotion. Less soreness in the AM.
