Rosie, go up to the top of the page where your message is and you will see a collection of related PF topics in rectangular boxes. Click on the one that says 'PF Book.' This is Scott's main document and I would guess it is well over 20 pages long by now. If you haven't read the whole thing, I would suggest it. But if you won't do that, at least scroll down to the section on curing plantar fasciitis and you will see LOTS of options besides steroids and injections.
What is working for me (and I have gone from hobbling around the house to walking 1 or 2 miles each day)is: Birkenstocks, fairly heavy doses of bromelain, a low carb diet that also eliminates flour and wheat products, and some aerobic exercise every day.
Every person needs to find what works for him or her.
