was reading about a new approach to pain management for a variety of problems including low back pain, cancer pain.herpes zoyster, etc. double blind studies at the Southwestern Hospital in Dallas indicate very good results or better than medication, exercise, and tens.

for low back pain 6 pins like accupuncture needles are inserted along the spinal column and current a specific frequency and amperage is passed thru the needles for a period of 30 minutes. 3 treatments a week for about a month. patients reported they would pay for the treatment themselves if insurance would not - they were impressed.
