Don't worry about the EMG test. I doubt he will wait for things to get worse to treat you if you are negative on EMG. Negative does not rule out anything, as he said. And negative is always better than positive. I can't wait to see what treatment you do get.

I wonder why he rules out any connection between cts and tts off hand like that. There is no reason why it must be connected, as some people could be congenitically/structurally pre-disposed to such conditions. But sometimes there could be a connection if there is something systemic behind it. True, it is not likely to be discovered, but just because you don't know what it is doesn't mean it's not there.
