actually, I am not enamored with 'stretching' as much as exercise...

I've gone over this a little in the past... that the plantar fascia and muscles associated with it aren't 'endurance' type muscles which supposedly are the only ones profiting from stretching. Weight training and this muscle strenghtening device (as well as stair steps etc.... and just rigourus regular exercise... that's non painfull) are solutions more than just stretching.
