Question for Doctor Z Re: Navicular Cuneiform Sag

Posted by jeff d on 4/06/00 at 00:00 (018405)

Can you tell me anything about what a navicular cunieform sag in both feet portends for someone with bi-lateral PF?

Surgery was said to be dangerous for me because of what the doctor called an 'already collapse pattern.'

This is a radiograph finding that indicates that you have excessive pronation. This usually is something that you were born with, however did you have trauma. Did you have a steriod injection. Is there a rupture of the PF. So this means that you have a foot structure that makes you more prone to pf and other related foot pain.
