change in pain

Posted by GinaC on 4/27/00 at 00:00 (019488)

I agree, Nicole. The post-treatment pain is different. For me, both the amount and quality of pain has changed. I am somewhat less restricted in activity and now the pain is more of a dull ache in treatment area, sometimes going toward the arch and in the arch on occasion. Before the pain was more the feeling of walking with a nail right in the heel--very sharp and strong. Also, I can't find my heel 'pain spot,' which was easy to locate/palpate before. Finally, I sometimes have soreness at rest; priot to treatment my foot rarely hurt when I wasn't weight-bearing.
