The Grass is not Greener...(from another message board)

Posted by Bob G. on 6/02/00 at 02:33 (021199)

...I have had for quite some time and now I have been diagnosed with

Osteoarthritis.I try to get up earlier each day and go to bed earlier as well.
I sleep on an easy chair , so that I can get up quickly. If I go on the bed
then
I am in excruciating pain and I can not go to work for eight oin the morning.

I splurge by going on the bed on weekends and holidays. I do not rush but
take
my time in getting dressed etc. If I find that I need more time then I go to
bed
earlier and rise at an earlier time. This has helped me and the plus side is
that
I have some quiet time to myself to do my exercises and warm up my body.

I even do some light housework at this time as well.
Take care, try it , it worked for me and is still working.

This was one of many posts on an arthitist message board. Kinda makes the nightsplint a sissy...

PF can be beaten. With Arthritis, they must learn to live with it as it gets worse with no cure...

Thanks for the encouragement. I love to see posting like this. PF is a bummer, but not life threatening and I've seen it go away so I know
this time it will also go away. Patience so hard when you can't walk, so the encouragement from others is very important. You never
know who you touch by what you say. It may be their only hope.
