So now I am trying this....

Posted by cindyp on 7/16/00 at 16:32 (023397)

I have started taking glucosamine. Don't know that it will do any good in my case. Have a sixty day supply. Will let you know in a few weeks. Should know one way or another by then. Stuff is rather expensive.

Hello, Cindy!

I have the same stuff. Stopped taking it after two weeks (for my knees) because of the headaches and still neck. But then again, I am different. Maybe I was taking too much, one a day. Perhaps one a week, we'll see...

I am taking fish oil with Omega 3, two months now, and think it does well (even my skin has gotten better!)...

Life is good!

Best wishes, BG

I took Gloucosamine/condrointin for 4 years for my knees. It worked
miracles. I was unable to climb stairs without pain and now I am
almost painfree. These substances are aimed at helping cartilage problems, not tendon problems. They have been found to help 'grow' new cartilage. Because PF is a tendon problem, you probably will not get any relief from gloucosamine.
