My Knees are Killing Me

Posted by Wanda M on 7/17/00 at 16:33 (023440)

Hello everybody well as the old southern saying goes 'if it ant one thing then its another' I have had pf or tt for about 3yrs it has got better or it goes up ad down. I've about done everything I know to do been to every Dr , I can at least walk but cant stand in one place for over 10 min. or will be hunting some place to park it.
Went to Universal Studios and walked all over the place had to carry two pr of shoes and switch out but did fairly well, well now I guess I overdid it for now my knee on my worse foot feels like it is swelled and if I ever bend down my knee hurts so bad, seems like if keep my legs in one position for a while then my knee will stiffen up real bad and it takes about 5 mins to go back to normal, does anyone else have this to happen to them or am I alone

Yes, the knees need rest, also. If they hurt they need more rest.

Hot baths and knee braces have worked for me.

I have found if I try wearing orthotics to relieve the PF, then
my knees and hips seem to be out of line and they begin to bother
me a great deal. Soon after the arches follow too.
