Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy

Posted by Laurie on 9/01/00 at 20:29 (026923)

I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and after many months of treatment with no success, my doctor performed EPF starting with my left foot first four weeks ago. Right foot is to be done in 3 more weeks. It has helped with the severe heel pain but I am experiencing fatigue and pain in the arch of my left foot now after standing for a short periods of time. I am using my orthotics with good tennis shoes and still resting but returned back to work after just one week. The doctor tells me I should have given myself a longer recovery period. Is it normal to be experiencing this type of pain? I have scheduled a longer time period off for the next surgery. Would appreciate your response.
