What is it that we lift that cause injury.? The answer is ourselves.
each step we take, we are required to raise our own body weight an inch or so. This happpens while we lift our heels from the ground while the opposing limb is swinging forward. Considering that we take 3000-10,000 or more steps per day, then the total amount of weight lifted daily is staggering. For example an average woman weighting 125 pounds taking only 5000 steps per day will raise 125,000 pounds by bedtime. Plantar faciitis in my opinion is a repetitive motion injury. Now that we have the answer. We had better treat all of the muscles in our bodies by strengthening the ones we have left as quickly as possible.
