50 Ways to Cure PF ( apologies to Paul Simon)

Posted by AmyM on 10/19/00 at 16:59 (030854)

For those of you old enough to remember Fifty Ways to Leave Your Lover, by Paul Simon (1975) I present a pf friendly version

Fifty Ways to Cure PF

1
The problem is all inside your feet she said to me.
The answer is easy if you take it logically
I'd like to help you in your struggle to be pain free
There must be fifty ways to cure pf
Fifty ways to cure pf

2
She said my fascia is swollen and inflamed
And every day and night my feet are in great pain
My doctor doesn't help one bit, he don't know what to do
There must be fifty ways to cure pf
Fifty ways to cure pf

Chorus:

Don't walk at all Paul
Strech both your legs Peg
Learn to walk on you hands Stan
And remember to ice
Use your Acu-Flex Rex
Wear your Birkenstock sho-es
Get ESWT Lee
And remember to ice

3
She said it grieves me so to see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do to walk pain free again
I said I appreciate that and could you please explain
About the fifty ways to cure pf
Fifty ways to cure pf

4
It has been months and months when will we see the light?
I'm sick of putting on these splints night after night
I put my PFT down and held her very tight
There must be fifty ways to cure pf
Fifty ways to cure pf

Repeat Chrous

If you do have PF and have reached a point where you can not heal that area and get pain relief, then ESWT would be the next step and a way to avoid surgery. Dr. B.
