A poor man's Silicone Dynamic Orthotics?

This looks interesting: http://www.doctorshoe.com/Pages/Biosole/biosole_new.html
They are no doubt not as 'good' as the SDO's advertised on the products page, but at $45, they are much cheaper.

The BioSoles ARE decent otc inserts. I wore them for a while (back in April, I think) and was quite impressed with them -- they're well made, and they felt very good, until . . . the arches started bothering me. My arch is called normal, but only because it isn't completely flat; it's actually very low, and so the inserts didn't work out for me in the long run (as most don't, for this reason).
But anyone with a truly medium or high arch might really like them. By the way, they were only $25 at the medical supply store where I bought them.

Hmmm, searching...searching... aha! I found the Biosole-Gel insoles for $19 at http://www.scrip-inc.com/catalog/99orthotics.html
This place has other interesting cheap foot stuff as well, such as the birk blue footbed for $19.95.
