Atten. Richard: I need a website for PW Minor Shoes.

Posted by Beverly on 10/27/00 at 10:16 (031447)

Richard,

Do you know of a website for PW Minor Shoes or the other extra depth shoe brand you suggested? I did a search and didn't find anything.

I know there is a store in Dallas that carries that kind of shoe, but I'm a good four months away from getting home to the Metroplex. In the meantime, I live in a small city without such a store.

Thanks,
Bevelry

Hi Beverly:
I have been trying to find something for you all morning. It seems as though Drew and PW Minor do not have web sites. Could they 'be' more behind the times?? :-) Anyway, what I found was a shoe company that sells Drew and PW, among others, and includes pictures. The pictures are not that great, but better than nothing. The pictures for the Heidi and Ava (the Ava has a velcro closure) show one with what appears to be a golf ball stuffed in the toe to shoe how it can acommodate specific conditions. I found the site on MSN search. The address is: http://www.fittedshoe.com . Also, try: http://www.pedors.com . I use Pedors very often for severe charcot and arthritic patients. They are great shoes, but not made for the active person. The Fitted Shoe site's prices are pretty accurate. Let me know what you think.

Beverly, I found another site too. It's at

http://www.fitallfeet.com

You have to scroll down a ways, but they're there.

Fitallfeet.com has good pictures, but you have to promise me that you will overlook the section for taking your own foam impressions. That is a big no-no in my book. We all know why....don't we? :-)

Absolutely, Richard. Yikes, I forgot to say that. I would never do the foam box impression by myself -- I experienced yesterday that there's a very careful and specific method to it. So don't buy into that, Beverly! Ignore that part of the site.
