heal spur pain

Posted by Jessica M on 11/02/00 at 15:59 (031835)

I have heal spurs on my feet, caused by wearing small shoes when
my foot was forming as a child....the spurs are on the back of my heal and are quite large, they have never been a problem until now....one spur is super painful and causes me to limp quite badly...I have seen a doctor and have been told nothing can be done,
they cannot be taken off as with a bunyon or corn...I cannot accept
this..can anyone tell me of their success with spurs and/or removal
of them.....please
