eswt commercialism

Posted by Doug S on 1/04/01 at 07:33 (035897)

It's a shame that Healthtronic's representatives/investors continue to use this message board to promote their product. Their continual cheap shots at the competition is not appreciated and am confident that they will only further aleinate themselves from pf sufferer's.

What HealthTronics representatives? I haven't seen hide nor hair of them (except for a stray John W now and then) in close to a year. If you're talking about John H's post, I should mention that he was here for over a year before healthronics knew we existed.

John H. has been a great supporter and helps to place alot of information about ESWT on this board. So what if his stock is worth a millions. Just kidding. So who are we talking about. I miss Duane E. He was a great support of the ossatron and really went at me but I still learned alot about ESWT from him.

John H-obviously no one has bothered to check the healthronics stocks as they have hit rock bottom-no millionares from it! Ha! Wish I had cashed in at $19.

Be careful what you wish for Dr Z, I might dig up Duane E's email address and send him a copy of your post! :)

Bring him on. I haven't been attacked for sometime. I miss his right up front assaults on me. I bet your readership was up with Duane on board.

Anyway tell him I will place him in the Dr. Z ESWT orbasone lotto for next month. If he makes a special guest appearance on heelspur.com.

He was the first to point out to me that the words orthotripsy, ossatron, and even orthopedic lithotripsy are trade marked words. He even taught me how to use the trademark letter on my key board. I think I e-mailed him and he took me seriously by describing exactly how to use the trademark letter. I forgot how to do this. Anything January Jan 26,2001 will be my first aniversity that I announced that Dr. Z is performing ESWT in New Jersey and then the fun began.

Maybe for my anniversity party you can invite Duane E. t roast Dr. Z

i am still hanging on martha. if they are going to train 50 orthos.podiatrist a month in 2001 we will see more machines and more profits for healthtronics which will eventually increase the value of the stock. healthtronics is still a profitable company and does not need the ossatron to be profitable.

Doug,
I must say that I do not see the commercialism you are referring to.
Everyone in this very special community is here to share what works, what does not work, to share their pain, and to share some great stories!
Our office uses the Orbasone, and we have results that we are very proud to post. Healthtronics offers the Ossatron, which is in itself a fine machine.
But whether the treatment is delivered by the Orby or the Ossatron, it is the doctor that pre-screens patients for an accurate diagnosis, is trained well to provide the treatment, and has the support staff and knowledge to provide outstanding continual care post-tx.
Competition is healthy, it will serve to foster the growth of this technology, and in the long run make it even more available to more patients.
