PODIATRIST OR ORTHO SURGEON?

Posted by carol on 3/07/01 at 02:56 (040670)

Kathleen - I totally sympathise with you - it is a living hell and ones life just stops! Pain pain pain. I would certainly suggest you get a second opionion from a top specialist in the feet field. I had one botch job op and had the second three weeks ago. Am still struggling but the specialist assures me all will be well and he found lots of scar tissue etc round the nerve and the nerve is still very bruised hence the pain. You will see from my previous letters leading up to the op. I had everything under the sun for treatment and nothing worked. Anyway best of luck and I am sure everyone will agree with me get it checked out by an Orthapeadic Specialist who concentrates on feet. Carol

I agree with Carol , find an Orthapeadic Specialist who concentrates on feet. I had my TTS surgery Feb.26. I see the Dr. on Friday to get my stitches out. I wish you best of luck.
