Heel Pain

Posted by Kevin K on 3/11/01 at 16:26 (041086)

My wife is 6 1/2 months pregnant. She has developed severe heel pain. It is a throbbing pain that is excrutiating. There seems to be white 'bumps' around the sides of her heels. She really does not want to take any medication but needs relief. Any thoughts on what it could be????

The white bumps are the fat padding area the heal pushing out. Very common
with weight gain. I would go see a foot specialists and have my feet taped.
In addition go to the online heel pain book and take a look at the taping section. You could tape your wives heel for her. If there is no relief then see a docotor. Ice could be very helpful.
