Heel spur

Posted by Jo H on 3/29/01 at hrmin (042893)

I had surgery on both feet a couple of years ago for heel spurs. They went in and snipped the band. I wear orthotics in shoes at all times. My problem is my left foot is sensitive and that ankle swells. Sometimes I get tingling and numbness on the outer sides of my feet too. What should I do? When I get up in the mornings my swelling is gone.

You should see you doctor and have your foot/ankle evaluated to try and derterminr what the problem is. As this is one sided it should be professionaly evaluated and not self diagnosed. Dr. B.
