Rompe, Mr. or Ms.

Posted by JohnW on 4/26/01 at 20:23 (045899)

Having attended two worldconferences with Dr. Rompe and listening to numerous papers from his/her lips, I am 99% certain it is Mr. Dr. Rompe. This was prior to my lasik surgery however so I reserve the 1%.

I though that it was Mr. but I never met the gentleman. Actually I kind of though it was sexy when I learned that from Pauline that it was Mrs. Dr. Rompe.

I am assuming that Jan-Dirk Rompe is Dutch. The names 'Jan' and 'Dirk' are masculine.

Still wish that he was a she. It would give some class to ESWT to have a woman expert. The name itself in my opinion is very classy
