Hi Jen,

I have PF as well as Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome and I was put in a Bledsoe LC
boot walking cast Tuesday..I am lucky, I guess, since it fits me very well
and it is easing the pain.

Sorry they had to put you in a Fiberglass cast. I had that experience for 3
months back in 1967 on both feet/legs up to the knees..As for your little
toe. Tell your Dr that the cast is irritating your little toe..My cast did that
those many years ago and it actually caused my little toe to flatten out
and I still have trouble with pain in that toe. I get corns and blisters.
So please tell your Doc to fix it so it eases the pressure on your little
toe..Save yourself from what I have been through..

Hope you feel better soon.

Casts can be tough. Call your doc and tell him about the baby toe. He will cut back the cast away from the toe. In the mean time duck tape the sharp edge

May I ask you why your doctor put you in a cast? Is it helping at all?
I had mentioned it when I had a podiatrist and he did not say anything that is why I ask.
