Surgery and dorsiflexion

Posted by Mary J. on 5/18/01 at 06:16 (048175)

I have a question. Does a person with good dorsiflexion need surgery? In other words, doesn't surgery provide the same result as good dorsiflexion? Thanks, Mary J.

I suppose the good dorsiflexion is in the ankle and calf. The foot doctor pushed my toe back, and said, 'You have good dorsiflexion'. I assume you don't need any more stretching with good dorsiflexion. Doesn't surgery provide the same thing? Thanks. Mary J.
